Cheap & Easy Teeth Whitening Routine

I am a big fan of quick and easy beauty routines [mostly due to my short attention span and fidgety nature]. I also have really sensitive teeth so name brand teeth whitening kits that I’ve tried over the years usually get abandoned before any results can be appreciated.

Here is my quick and easy whitening routine that costs around $5:

  1. Put toothpaste on my toothbrush (any toothbrush/toothpaste will do the trick)
  2. Wet my toothbrush using 3% hydrogen peroxide (~$2.00 and lasts forever)
  3. Shake baking soda over the tooth paste (~$0.75)
  4. Brush teeth like normal

That’s it.

I do this most evenings whenever I would normally brush my fangs and I’ve definitely seen an improvement. Just remember to replace your baking soda monthly to keep it fresh and effective.

Now, I don’t have before and after photos because this was more of an absent-minded, year-long experiment based on the main ingredients in whitening kits rather than a fool-proof plan. This is your mouth’s equivalent of a gradual self-tanner so don’t expect to see results overnight. However, it is the cheapest and easiest way to add a little razzle-dazzle to your smile.

Cheers, babes.
